JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will:
• Build and maintain a healthy relationship with specifiers, installers and end users to ensure we provide them with all the information they require, to a high standard and in a timely fashion.
• Liaise with specifiers, installers and end users to make them aware of the full product range and services on offer, developing proposals, solving problems, creating demos, dilaux reports and quotations.
• Convert project specifications into orders and manage delivery/commissioning
• Prepare relevant data ,attend sales meetings to discuss expected orders and potential marketing opportunities.
• Ensure specifiers are updated with new developments in this constantly evolving sector
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions to improve results
• Continuously reviewing and optimizing the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This may involve identifying areas for improvement, implementing new sales tools or technologies, and streamlining workflows.
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful sales teams.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to effectively lead, motivate and inspire the team. The individual must be capable of setting clear goals, proving guidance, and fostering a positive and results driven culture.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for interacting with the sales team, senior management, clients and other stakeholders
Negotiation Skills : Strong negotiation skills are essential to secure deals and maintain profitable relationships
Customer Focus : A strong customer-centric approach is vital in understanding the customer needs and building relationships
Ethical Conduct: An understanding of ethical business practices and compliance standards is critical,as the individual may have access to sensitive customer information and strategic plans.
